"Bubby's Bio"
Many years ago, during my “one too many” trips through the revolving doors of recidivism my youngest son, as a toddler, unknowingly inspired my venture into the art world by sending a masterpiece of a red marker scribble on paper.
With the hope of staying relevant I, in turn, sent him my own scribbles that eventually created a direct bridge into each other's lives.
Over time this ebb and flow led to my desire, appreciation, and yearning to learn about and create art.
Unfortunately, there are people out in the general public who have the misconception that anyone who lives or experienced struggle and/or wound up inside walls of oppression, whether it be jail, prison, institutions, hospitals, or the vices of self-imprisonment (physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally) are “bad people.”
As I began my journey into the art world, I found everyone to be welcoming, expressing, sharing, and willing to teach “tricks of their trade." Seeing all the varieties of art applications and the range of artistic expression truly captivated and consumed my intrigue.
In time, I began to realize that behind every work of art: from paint to pastel – sculpture to song lyrics, there lies a message or a story, an impression or expression; a piece of the artist's soul in every creation, in every work of art.
For this reason, I decided to create “Con Kreations” so you can experience the opportunity to enjoy the stories and expressions from the inside (the artist).
I hope you enjoy!
